MA’O Organic Farms
A youth-powered organic farm in Lualualei Valley — “Mala ‘Ai ‘Opio”, the youth food garden — that funds college pathways for west-side young people while growing a serious amount of produce.
Worth knowing before you go: the farm itself is a working training site, not a visitor attraction, and there are no drop-in tours or volunteer days at present. Where you can actually meet MA’O is at their Saturday farmers market stall at Waianae Mall, 8 AM to noon. CSA subscribers collect on-farm.
